I guess it depends on which landlord you speak to as you will get a compelling argument for a ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ answer.

Look… The way I have turned my property business into a passive income without using property management companies or letting agencies, is to provide the tenant with every piece of information they need – to have a happy and stress free stay.
It’s called my ‘Tenant Welcome Pack’ and is a single sheet of A4 paper.
As well as giving my tenants a stress free stay, it means that they hardly ever need to contact me which, in turn, means no stress or hassle for me either.
This of course means that my property business is as passive as it can be, without incurring high management fees!
