Landlord Login Area Advice
Within your landlords control panel you will have access to a number of facilities.
Listed below are the facilities on offer.
"Edit Account" service.
Landlords have the facility to change their contact details at anytime.

"Dashboard" services.
My Portfolio.
Within this section landlords are able to quickly check the following;
- How many of your properties are currently being advertised.
- How many of your properties have expired.
- How many rental report credits you have remaining.
- How many credit check credits you have remaining.
Your Messages.
Within this section landlords will be able to submit property description amendments and other requests to the Discount Letting team. This message service will enable a member of the Discount Letting team to carry out the requests of landlords much quicker and more efficiently than using email or telephone. Please allow 24 hours for the Discount Letting team to carry out any requests and for the amendments to be displayed on our partner sites.
Landlord are able to view all past messages details and the status of the message.

"Add a property" service.
Landlords can easily add a new property using the add property service.

"My Properties" service.
Within this service landlords can view all of their currently advertised properties, incomplete properties, and expired properties.
Current Properties.
The first section displayed is the "Current Properties" section, which displays all of the landlords live properties. Next to each property the landlord has access to 5 services which are listed below.
1)View Advert
This facility allows the landlord to view their property as it will be seen on the Discount Letting website. Please note that the layout of property particulars will change from portal to portal. The property view offered will only display the way Discount Letting show their rental property. For exact information on how properties are displayed on particular portals please visit the individual portal.

2)Edit Images.
This facility allows the landlord to submit property images to Discount Letting. Once Discount Letting has received a property image, the image must first be deemed as acceptable for use within our own website and our partner’s websites. The property will be taken off line until the image has been deemed as appropriate. No property will be sent to our partner sites if the property image is deemed as inappropriate. Should a property image be deemed as inappropriate the landlord will be contacted. Once property images have been deemed as appropriate the images and property are reintroduced into the Discount Letting property feed system. This process may take 24 hours.
3) Edit contact details.
This facility allows the landlord to change the contact details for individual properties. If you wish a particular property to have all leads sent to an associate or colleague you can add their contact details here. This facility will not change your general account details and will only change the contact details of the property you select.
4)View weekly Report.
This facility will allow the landlord to view at a glance what enquiries have been made on his/her property.
5)View Invoice.
Landlords can use the invoice facility to copy and view an invoice for their property.
6)Renew Property (this option will only appear if the property is about to run out).
In the event that a landlord has not tenanted their rental property within one month of using the Discount Letting Tenant Find Service, landlords will be able to renew their property registration by using this option. A discounted rate of £40+vat is offered for renewals. If a landlord has not tenanted their property within one month it is advised that the landlord reads the guidance notes provided by Discount Letting.
Please note: This option will only appear if there is five days or less, until the property registration is due to expire. All landlords will receive an automated email informing them that their property registration will soon expire. It is entirely the landlords responsibility to renew their property registration prior to expiry, if required. Landlords should use the easy renewal system or call 020 8 697 0984 prior to expiry. Once a registration has expired standard fees apply.
Incomplete Properties.
The next section displays incomplete properties that have not actually been registered. The landlord has the facility to re-visit an incomplete property and complete the registration process at a convenient time for the landlord.
Expired Properties.
The next section displays the landlords properties that have expired. If a landlord wishes to re-advertise a property they can do so by clicking the re-advertise property link. The landlord does not need to complete a new registration form as the property details have been saved. Re-advertising an old property is extremely easy.

"Legal Pack" service.
Discount Letting has created a handy zip file which contains all the documents that landlords are required to complete when finalising their rental agreement. This legal pack is worth £69 but can be purchased for just £20 when registered with Discount Letting.

"Rental Reports" service.
This service allows landlords to purchase a rental report for £20. Landlords gain access to valuable market information that allows landlords to pitch their rental properties at the right price and avoid an empty property.

"Credit Checks" service.
This service allows landlords to purchase credit checks for their tenants for £15. Simply complete the online form and submit the details to our team. Landlords will receive a credit check in 24 hours.

"Feedback" service.
This service allows landlords to let us know what they think of the service we offer and how we can improve our service. All landlord feedback is greatly appreciated and helps us to fine tune our service and offer the very best service to all of our landlords.
